Hi, I’m El.

I grew up in the East Midlands and I’ve had a soft spot for sketches and arty things for as long as I can remember. If there was paper nearby, I was probably drawing on it.

​

By day, I’m a barista. Pouring tulips, dusting cappuccinos, and people-watching. But when I’m not behind the coffee machine, I’m usually sitting down with a paintbrush or pencil, trying to capture something that (hopefully) makes you pause for a minute

​

I used to carry a professional camera everywhere when I was younger, and I still like to photograph the things that catch my eye - reflections, soft light, ordinary but quintessentially human moments.

A lot in the act of living can be messy and overwhelming, but it's those redeeming moments I try to bottle up in pencil and paint (or capture in a photo). Those moments that remind you how lush life can be.

Right now, I’m in the process of turning this art thing into a Thing™. I’m working towards launching a line of fine art prints and growing this into a creative business to add a bit of light and colour into your day.
